A Poet and a Lunatic...
James Pinedo, II
Inspired by the works of G.K. Chesterton, J.R.R. Tolkien and Stan Lee, I decided at age 12 to become a storyteller as they were, but one that would speak using the modern means of connecting with the entire world. In other words, I decided to be a filmmaker. Later I discovered this meant that one must be a little bit mad to truly pursue this path. Thankfully, as eldest of six of a Catholic family, my upbringing had already prepared me for this contingency.
Alongside this developing mental position, I've produced, directed and shot projects of all sizes on 3 different continents. Check out My BLOG or PODCAST to get a glimpse. -JPII

James Pinedo, II is a filmmaker who works in feature films, network and streaming television, ad agencies and ministries to write, direct, produce, film, edit and distribute stories. James believes that hearing a well told story can change the heart and move the soul, and he has dedicated his live to pursuit of the beautiful in order to be a voice that will change the world for the better.
James has worked with production companies such as Fox, ABC and CBS to be a part of production on shows and movies such as Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, and The Wolverine, as well as ministries to produce programs such as 33 Days to Merciful Love, The Choice Wine and That Man is You!. James has also written and directed the feature length film, The Extrovert, which premiered internationally at the I Will Tell International Film Festival in London and where it won the Distinguished Jury Selection award.
James holds a BA in Radio/TV/Film from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with highest honors.
